STG provides integrated logistics solutions and operates the largest network of independent CFS facilities in North America, handling ocean and air cargo in close proximity to all major ports and metropolitan areas. In addition to being a premier provider of managed and extended outsourced logistics services, the company offers a proprietary software platform that deliver visibility, integration, efficiency in a solution that provides visibility into every aspect of a logistics operation.
STG had a sprawling website, offering a great deal of static information about the services it provides, and the ever-expanding network of 32 warehouses and 66 partner CFS facilities, covering the entire United States, that it provides these services in. The website also had a customer web portal that offered a secure view into all aspects of a customers’ logistics engagement with SGA.
The problem with STG’s website was that it was just a straight information dump, with little in the way of a workable user interface, benefits-driven copy, or a unifying graphic theme. SFA imbued the website with a sense of movement, with graphics that emphasized the scope of operations, and redesigned the navigation so that it made more sense to the users. All copy was rewritten, or refreshed, as was necessary for a given landing page or solution. The location menu was given a major overhaul, as was the entrance into the customer web portal.
The result? A user friendly, world-class website for a world-class company.
