Production Designer

Trumbull, CT

We are a mid-sized branding and marketing firm with clients throughout the country. We are seeking a strong production designer who also has design skills in both print and digital. The candidate must have the ability to efficiently create new design work or alter existing work using predetermined layouts and style guides, to produce brochures, catalogs, ads, eblasts, etc. This is primarily a production role with design opportunities.

Job Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience
  • Solid skills in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Acrobat Professional, Word and Excel
  • Understanding of and ability to work with multi-faceted brand standard systems
  • Excellent grasp of typography, color and layout with high attention to detail
  • Ability to set up files for print production: completing file quality checks, creating bleeds and crops, imposition and resizing
  • Daily evaluation of individual project needs including prioritizing, tracking and handling time schedules of multiple projects
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines at times
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for the business, positive energy and the desire to be a team player

SFA Marketing is a successful marketing firm with a 25-year track record. We are looking for a motivated sales professional to expand our customer base in the tristate area. We encourage job seekers with prior experience selling services (B2B, financial, marketing, etc) to take a look at this opportunity.

The ideal sales person will have that hunter mentality -- knowledgeable about the sales process but inspired by the chase. We have an established target of clients and an ever-growing list of contacts that will allow you to hit the ground running. You will be responsible for calling on contacts, breaking down doors and getting the company principals in to take the meeting. These clients are in diverse industries including healthcare, financial, energy and more.

This position carries a base salary; however your compensation will be tied directly to your ability to bring in new business based on the leads provided or leads cultivated through your own research and professional network. You will be responsible for selling our brand of marketing to a very discerning buyer, so professionalism is key to handling this position.
