Sonics is a Connecticut-based engineering, manufacturing and sales organization with an established reputation for quality and excellence in ultrasonic technologies. Sonics selected SFA to help them rebrand the organization, build an improved website, and reposition their product offerings to 7 distinct vertical markets. Based upon research and collaboration with Sonics’ senior leadership teams, SFA developed a website platform which addresses the specific requirements of their highly segmented customer base. With no cross-sell opportunities among 7 vertical markets, SFA recommended the development of 7 similarly branded website sections – allowing visitors to remain within their specific area of ultrasonic specialty.
SFA conducted company, market and competitive research to identify key differentiators including Sonics’ in-house engineering and manufacturing capabilities – a distinct service that enables faster time to market, customization to client specifications, and the highest level of quality control. Materials delivery included a refined brand identity, new tagline, SonicsEdge customer-service team positioning, a responsive website, a content management system (CMS) and related marketing materials which better reflected the company’s value. The company’s new website (http://www.sonics.com) launched in Fall 2016.
The Sonics’ website has already benefited from substantial increases in Site Sessions, Site Users, Page Views, Pages Per Session and Average Session Duration. In addition, organic search results are up more than 30% with a corresponding reduction in the bounce rate, based upon coding and content recommendations which SFA implemented.
