Entertainment Marketing Case Study: Cobb Theatres

Cobb Theatres is a progressive Southeastern movie chain with dozens of locations and more than 250 screens. SFA was hired to create a website that would update the theatre chain's brand and provide a level of interactivity that reflected Cobb's customer-focused philosophy.

Cobb Theatre's new website allows users to find location / theater specific pages, access coupons and promotions, and select movie trailers. SFA worked with Fandango to access movie listings and their online ticket purchasing system, but masked it with Cobb branding. To cultivate the theatre's customer database, SFA developed a Moviegoers Club loyalty program and weekly interactive email newsletter that has grown to nearly 40,000 recipients.
